Planning Your Wedding Day
  • Set a date and book with your place of worship/registrar.

  • Check out venues and confirm your booking.

  • If your wedding is to be on a weekend between Easter & October or in December you will need to book many of your services below well in advance to ensure that the ones you want are available (this is not how most guide sheets advise but, if you want your first choice, trust us on this one).
Many will require deposits to secure your booking so you do need to budget for this early but it's less to pay out later:

Timings. The figures below are based on average times but will give you a good idea when it comes to planning your day.
 
20 mins Travel to Ceremony location
30/60 mins Ceremony
20 mins Travel to venue
90 mins Wedding photographs
90 mins Wedding breakfast
30 mins Speeches
240/300 mins Evening entertainment
   
You will also need to allow some time in-between each of the above (it is suggested you add an additional 120 minutes over the whole day)
